SHOW US YOUR SUPPORT BY TELLING US ABOUT YOUR TRANSFERABLE SKILLS

This year, Canada Career Month is focused on celebrating the skills of Canadians across the nation. We are challenging the status-quo and highlighting the fact that Canadians have a plethora of important skills that Employers are looking for. We are shifting the conversation away from a deficit model and into one that focuses on assisting Canadians to inventory and self-market their transferable skills!

As a first step, we challenge you to think about a skill you may have and how you have portrayed that skill in some experience. Share it with us below, share it with your social circles, and, together, let's turn this conversation into an unstoppable movement!

Tell Us What You Think

Your views help us make a better Career Month!

Do you have an idea for an event we should run?

Are you an employer that would like to propose an event we can run? Or are you an event planning extraordinaire that just had a "Eureka!" moment? Whatever the case, we'd love to hear your ideas! Together, we will create a better Canada Career Month

How do you think we can attract the most Canadians to this Career Month?

Our conversation will only be effective if we can reach as many Canadians as possible? Do you have any ideas you'd like to share with us related to outreach to Canadians and how we can ensure they join our movement and attend our events?

What are your thoughts on this year's theme? Are Canadians' skills to be celebrated?

We believe that Canadians have a lot of transferable skills that need to be celebrated. With a little help in self-marketing, we believe that the gap between employers and candidates can be quickly closed. Do you agree or do you think there is a different phenomenon occurring?

Have we missed anything you think we should consider?

They say the more eyes look at a problem the less difficult it becomes. If you have read through everything and think we have missed something, please don't hesitate in letting us know what that might be!
