Climate Change is undoubtedly the defining issue of today's generations. The scientific community has shown, almost unanimously, that this issue is direr than anyone could have imagined, with clear "no turning back" targets being set within the lifetime of our children. Governments are, however slowly, attempting to bring the issue to the forefront of policy-makers. Corporations are finally attempting to understand the issue and make decisions. However, these stakeholders are not enough. The issue itself requires the attention of one more ever-important group: the general public.

 

What is the R&R Institute About?

 

There are many things that the general public can do to assist with the changing climate of our planet. The main focus of our institute will be around finding ways to reduce our individual demand on materials, all-the-while finding ways to reuse necessities that we cannot live without. We focus on these two R's of the three R system because these are the two that have the most potential, in our eyes, to solve the problem at the root.
