"Afforded the opportunity to be a voice and make a difference, I joined forces with Trajce in this important initiative. As a woman, it is important that I share my story, my lived experiences, be a positive role model to young women and men, and empower others to join the conversation."

What do we hope to achieve?

Our goals are to analyze the issues on gender equity and find tangible solutions that we can implement in our world. How? We will lead by example. Here is what we have planned:

  1. A complete community outreach campaign, inviting all perspectives and solutions

  2. The projectEQUITY Pledge

  3. A published book presenting our findings

Our Promise: Understand All Perspectives

Gender equity is a complex issue. We understand that the topic of gender equity requires a thorough analysis of all of the issues present, without bias. That is why we are working together with the community, doing research, and shedding light on both sides of the equation. Our promise is to ensure that we find solutions that do not create an unsustainable scenario for any gender, but rather creates opportunities for gender equity to become the new norm. Together, we believe we can make a tangible difference.

The Story Behind the Name

Treating everyone exactly the same does not mean the outcomes will be the same.  If everyone is treated equally, our differences and the history behind these differences, are not taken into consideration.

Our mission is to first ensure equity before we can enjoy equality.  Equity, by definition, is giving everyone what they need to be successful, actively creating a more level playing field.  At projectEQUITY, we recognize that men and women are different and we believe men and women should be given the same opportunities to succeed, despite their differences.

In a collaborative effort with our team of Ambassadors and through community outreach, we hope to achieve gender equity by debating and proposing tangible solutions for change in our workplaces, homes, and society.

What can you do?

In order for gender equity to become the norm in our society, it requires each and every one of us to become aware, responsible, and a part of the solution. From raising awareness, to actively searching for solutions, here is how you can be involved with projectEQUITY:

  1. Host one of our projectEQUITY Debates or Workshops

  2. Show your support by purchasing the projectEQUITY
    T-Shirt

  3. Join Our Team

How did we start?

With a unique partnership between two passionate and results-driven individuals in search of solutions to the problems women continue to face in our society today.  projectEQUITY started as a campaign when Trajce and Roxanne came together to realize that although our words carry weight, our actions speak louder.  They have opted to shift the conversation surrounding women's rights and gender equity from why to how.  With a team of intelligent, young minds across a wide range of industries, projectEQUITY is conducting research, debating and proposing solutions to issues such as workplace dynamics, the underrepresentation of women in STEM, and violence against women.
